Every AI security tool, by category

This page lists every category on AntivirusAir and every tool in it. The categories follow the jobs a small business IT lead or owner has to cover to keep the company safe, so each tool appears once, under the work it is mainly bought for, even when it does more.

Endpoint protection and EDR covers the agent on each laptop and server that blocks malware and records what happened. Email security and phishing defense filters the mail that carries most attacks, and security awareness training teaches staff to spot what the filters miss. Password and identity protection holds password managers, single sign-on and multi-factor login, since stolen passwords open the door to most break-ins.

AI-assisted SOC and threat detection is for companies without their own security staff: managed detection and response services, SIEM tools built for small teams and AI agents that triage alerts. Vulnerability scanning finds the missing patches and weak settings an attacker would look for first. Backup and ransomware recovery keeps copies of your data safe from encryption and gets machines running again. Browser and DNS filtering blocks known bad sites before a page loads, at the office or on a laptop at home.

Several platforms reach across these lines. A security suite may bundle endpoint, email and backup, and many email tools now include training. We list each under its main job and describe the rest on its own page. Category pages point to related categories so you can compare a suite with a tool that does one thing.

If you are not sure where to begin, start with the gap that would hurt most this month: no multi-factor login on email, backups nobody has tested, or alerts nobody reads. Each category page explains what to check before you buy, and each tool page links to the official site.

Questions about AntivirusAir

Why is a tool listed in only one category?

Many security platforms cover several jobs. We place each one under the work it is mainly bought for, so lists stay short and readable. The tool page describes the other areas it covers.

Which category should a small business start with?

Most start with identity and email, because stolen passwords and phishing cause most incidents, then add endpoint protection with someone watching alerts, and tested backups. The right order depends on what you already have switched on.

Can I submit a tool for a category that doesn't exist yet?

Yes. Send it through the submission form and tell us what job it does. If several defensive tools share that job, such as mobile device security, we may add a category for them.
